KLP 13, 14, and 15

It’s a triple treat this week. Don’t ask me how it happened; it just turned out that way.
Anyway, if you’ve been following Exact lakorns for a while (or even if Kaew Lom Phet is your first), you would know that Exact Productions is known for their drama, and sometimes it may be a little over the top, but one thing Exact usually does well with is the use of irony. And I have to admit that the irony in these three episodes was nicely done. I don’t want to spoil anyone who hasn’t seen the lakorn yet, so you’ll have to watch it to see for yourself. Unfortunately, only streaming is available right now; download links will be added later.
KLP 11 and 12
It took a long time, but I am officially halfway through Kaew Lom Phet. I know what you’re probably thinking. Only halfway through? Yes, the lakorn does seem to be exceedingly long, doesn’t it? And my slow pace certainly doesn’t help. However, I don’t plan on spending my entire summer subbing KLP, so here’s to praying that I stay determined and motivated and I finish the second half a lot faster than I did the first.
Speaking of which, where did everyone get the idea that I was dropping KLP, or was even thinking of it? I’m confused as to how, when, or where this rumor started since I certainly never mentioned anything about dropping it. I know my updates have been slow of late, but I didn’t think it was so bad that people started questioning whether I would finish it. I have always completed every project I started (with the exception of Wai Rai High School but that was because of copyright issues). So just in case anyone still has any doubts: I DO NOT PLAN TO DROP KAEW LOM PHET. I HAVE EVERY INTENTION OF COMPLETING IT. Hopefully that will allay everyone’s mind and put a rest to all those rumors floating around.
With that out of the way, let’s get back to actually talking about KLP. Aside from all the beat downs Namphet has suffered, the actual build up of the lakorn has been slow, but I feel that the birthday fiasco marks the turning point of the show. After that, the story starts to unravel as Pin, the ever faithful servant, starts piecing the puzzle together, and now that Karn’s illness is confirmed, things start picking up. Of course, however, this is all from a hindsight point-of-view. When I watched it while it aired, I actually thought the second half slowed down for various reasons, one of which (and it was a big one) was that it showed too much of Kaew, especially in the later episodes. That’s probably why I like these 1-hour official episodes better than the 45-minute ones that aired because they make it seem like more than one thing happens in an episode. It’s strange how 15 extra minutes can make such a big difference. With that said, let’s move on to the links:

I’m a Pro
A procrastinator, that is. I must have thought a million times a day that I should update my blog…only to put it off until another day. Okay, maybe a million is an exaggeration. At least more than once – and that’s already one time too many. I wish I could say I have procrastination down to an art, but that would make me more diligent than I really am. I wouldn’t be a procrastinator if I’ve succeeded in getting anything completed – and completed well. And for those who are sticklers for correct abbreviation use, I am a professional procrastinator if that makes it any better.
I know I said I would try to make consistent releases, but apparently I haven’t done that. I always mean to get down to work, but there’s always something else I could be doing, right? Perhaps I shouldn’t try to aspire too high and then maybe I can get things done a little faster.
Regarding Kaew Lom Phet, I’m halfway through episode 12 right now, which means once I’m done editing both 11 and 12, I’ll be uploading them. So for those who have been waiting, keep an eye out the next few days. The earliest I see it happening is probably Saturday, but that really depends on how diligently I work on them. But rest assured; I won’t make you wait another week. I’ll definitely try to make my deadline. Honest.
KLP 9 & 10
Glancing at my posts, you’d think I was going backward in my subbing. Lol Anyway, here are the two newest episodes, which, if you’re wondering, I haven’t shown yet. The download links are up as well as the streaming links so enjoy!

Updating blog, KLP, BSC
It’s been a while since I’ve updated my blog. Actually, I’m too lazy to really do anything with the design, but I’ve been spending the last few days and hours uploading videos. Lots and lots of videos. I’m happy to announce that all my KLP videos are up and working again, including the newly synced subtitles. Don’t forget that I’m using the official boxed set so the old numbering is off. I’ve caught up to where I last stopped, so hopefully in a couple of days I can get the new parts up.
To head to the DL page: KLP Episodes
Oh, just in case you’re unaware, I’ve decided against opening another account on YT. It’s just too much hassle. Therefore, I’ve decided to upload my projects on my joint account with AnothaiDara: anodchobling, so if you want to stream KLP, you can check it out there.
Also, if you’ve noticed, I’ve uploaded Bo See Chompoo. I don’t have the hardsubbed versions up, but the raws and the subtitles are available. Megaupload has been a pain to me the last few days, so if there are any links that don’t work (and this goes for KLP as well), please don’t hesitate to let me know.
The media page should also be updated soon with new links and new songs.
On a side note, I’ve been wondering what to do with my blog since I said in the beginning that I would try to do something with it. I thought long and hard about it, and I briefly toyed with the idea of translating novels from Thai into English… But that’s a really arduous task and will probably take time away from my subbing, so I crossed that off my list. I could translate Thai entertainment news, but there are better sites out there for that, so another item crossed off. Next on my list, I thought I could translate summaries of upcoming lakorns…but the problem with lakorn summaries is that they tend to give away everything, and being a spoilerphobe, I’d rather not deal with it. In the end, I decided maybe I’ll do episode recaps. I’m not much of a writer, so I really have no idea how that’s going to work out, and plus, writing episode recaps is also a lot of work. I haven’t decided on anything yet, but if I do end up writing recaps, I’ve been considering Dok Rak Rim Tang with Vill and Bie. It’s not the most compelling or profound lakorn out there, but it’s light (in a very dramatic Exact way, lol), and plus, it’s fun seeing Vill in a different role for once – where she isn’t crying in every episode. Anyway, I’ll think about it.

Summary:
This is a story about two people who think they have the answers to everything, but in actuality, they know very little about love. Bo Srisamorn (Angie) is a misguided gold-digger who believes money is the key to happiness, so she spends most of her life trying to land a rich guy. But not any rich man will do. He has to be able to accept the burden of raising her nephew as well as paying for her mentally unstable sister’s medical bills. Many years ago, her sister Jan was abandoned by her boyfriend after he found out she was pregnant and unable to accept that fact, she tried to commit suicide. Physically, Jan survived the attempt, but her mind never recovered from being abandoned. Ever since then, Bo has taken on the responsibility of raising her nephew and making enough money to pay for her sister’s hospitalization. Her sister’s experience taught Bo that love couldn’t provide anyone with security and only gave you heartache, so she’s cynical about love and doesn’t put much stock in it.
Meanwhile, Kritchapon (Chakrit) is also a cynic in love. Ever since his father’s second wife left him for another man, which caused his father to fall into a depression that he never recovered from, Pon has never trusted women again. When he meets Bo, he’s instantly attracted to her, but at the same time, he doesn’t trust her – especially after he thinks she stole his ring and finds out that she’s dating both his best friend Theeradet (Tun) and Theeradet’s father. What ensues is a war between them where each tries to outwit and out defeat the other while unconsciously learning the true meaning of love at the same time.

YT Account
I’m sure a lot of you are wondering what happened to my YT account. I’d like to know, too. Lol Anyway, I’m trying to get it resolved as fast as I can. I can’t promise how soon everything will be fixed (I’ve noticed that most of my links on my blog don’t work either), but I can promise that I’ll try to get everything up and working eventually. I am truly sorry about the inconvenience.
Updates
Wow, it’s been almost two weeks since my last post/upload. Unfortunately, I don’t have a new KLP episode to upload, but I do have some news to share.
As some of you may know if you’ve been to my YT channel, I just ordered the official KLP boxed set, which means there are no channel logos or words scrolling on the bottom or the title popping up on the screen anymore. However, since it’s VCD, the quality is just so-so compared to the dvd version I had been using. Like I told AnothaiDara, the video quality ranges from slightly better to slightly worse, but since I spent so much money on the official version, I’m going to use it. Lol However, the official version numbers their episodes differently from the version that aired on television, so while I’m actually on episode 12, according to the official boxed set version, I’m only on 8. There are actually 35 episodes total (I know, so long!), but with the vcds, there are only 24 (a much better number). So unfortunately for those who have already downloaded my previous uploads, you’ll have to download them again when I put up the new videos (unless you don’t care, in which case it doesn’t matter – though you might be confused by the numbering). I don’t know how I’ll deal with the numbering on YT since it’s pretty much set in stone unless I want to re-upload there as well. Whatever the case, expect new videos up soon with edited subtitles.
For those who are waiting for the re-uploads of my previous works, such as Buang Banjathorn and music videos, rest assured. I haven’t forgotten them. I have found most of them and transferred them on to my laptop, so hopefully I’ll get them up soon.
KLP 8-11 DL links up!
